I have to give it up to the books. They did a great job today with the MLB player props. It’s crazy how that happens some days. Granted the matchups went their way in most cases. There are 3 National League teams in American League parks instead of vice versa, which I’m not a big fan of. Still, they did hang one number that seems pretty “off” in my eyes. It’s a DraftKings special since they are the only ones with home runs allowed props.
On top of this article, you should definitely check out our experts’ picks on all of the MLB action today. It’s just a smart thing to do. Also, bets can be added to the card, so why not follow me on Twitter in case we get some last-second action? Once lineups are announced for some of these games, there is a chance for opportunity to knock.

As I mentioned, DraftKings is the only book I know of that posts these lines. Currently we are getting this number at -125, which is about as high as I will go in most cases. Especially MLB player props. Once this gets bumped even once, the value will be gone so get it as soon as possible if you can.
Logan Allen does one thing really well and that’s give up bombs. He hasn’t pitched in MLB since July 5, but in his last 10.2 innings pitched in the bigs he’s given up 8 dingers. That’s bad. The thing is, in his last 6 starts in the minors, he’s given up 6 dongs. We’re talking AA hitters here.
It goes from bad to worse because Allen’s opponent tonight is the Boston Red Sox. In the last week, only one team in MLB has hit more home runs than the Boston Red Sox. They are smashing baseballs at the moment. I would be shocked if they didn’t chase Allen from this game via the long ball.
