We have put together a four-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Wednesday night, including action from the MLS and MLB.

Two picks are taken from each sport and a winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +629 with DraftKings; that’s more than 6/1! Let’s break down each of these plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.

MLB pick: Milwaukee Brewers ML (-125) vs St. Louis Cardinals, 7:45pm ET

Milwaukee is on pace to set a franchise record in wins this season, and they will send All-Star starting pitcher Freddy Peralta to the mound on Wednesday. Peralta is 9-3 with a 2.26 ERA on the year, and he has posted a 1.71 ERA over his last 4 starts. He faced the Cardinals on May 11, and he tossed 7.0 scoreless innings and allowed just a single hit while striking out 8. St Louis’ offense can be stagnant at times, and they managed just 2 hits through 6.0 innings against Corbin Burnes last night. Things won’t get any easier going up against Peralta.

Jack Flaherty will take the mound for the Cardinals, and this will be his second start since returning from the IL earlier this week. He looked sharp in his last outing against Kansas City, but Milwaukee’s offense is capable of giving him some issues. The Cardinals are winning just 43% of their games as an underdog, while the Brewers are winning 60% of their games as a favorite. That number increases to 63% as a road favorite for Milwaukee, and they have won 66% of their road games overall. Take the Brewers.

MLB pick: Oakland Athletics vs Chicago White Sox ML (-190), 8:10pm ET

Lance Lynn faced the Athletics on three occasions last season with the Rangers and was dominant each time, allowing just 4 runs in 19.1 innings across those starts. He will match up against crafty lefty Cole Irvin, who has pitched well this year but has suffered from poor run support, leading to his 11 losses in 19 decisions. While wins and losses no longer determine a pitcher’s worth like they used to, they do determine the final outcome of the game, and with Lynn facing them it’s hard to see anything other than a loss for Oakland. Taking the run line isn’t always the best idea for a home team, as they can afford to give up late runs and still win by just one. Instead, take the White Sox on the money line, but with full confidence.

MLS pick: Toronto FC vs Atlanta United FC ML (-135), 7pm ET

Atlanta United and Toronto FC have had strikingly similar seasons. Both entered the 2021 campaign with high expectations, only to suffer through a long winless drought that stretched through much of the spring. Both saw their star forward (Jozy Altidore for Toronto, Josef Martinez for Atlanta) spend time training separately from teammates due to reasonable disputes with the team’s unreasonable coaches. And both eventually went on to fire those coaches, leading to a much more relaxed and united team atmosphere in the locker room and increased results that have both these teams still believing a playoff berth is possible despite how much of the first half went.

Atlanta’s 11 men are certainly tough to beat, but what makes them even harder in half their games is their 12th – the fans at Mercedes-Benz Stadium are louder and more passionate than just about anywhere else in the league. Take Atlanta on the money line.

MLS pick: Portland Timbers vs Sporting Kansas City – Both teams to score – Yes (-190), 8:30pm ET

Kansas City welcome into town a Portland team that knows its way to the net. The Timbers, though, haven’t been nearly as dominant on the other side of the ball, giving up 6 goals to Seattle on Sunday night, and that’s been their Achilles’ heel this season – despite the fact that they’re still hanging on to 7th in the standings, they’ve conceded 7 more goals than any other team in the West. It’s just about a certainty that Kansas City will score in this one, and they’re likely to win, too, but while the Timbers don’t often dominate possession, they do a good job with the opportunities they create offensively. Portland won the last meeting between these clubs 2-1 in June, and much like in that game, your best bet in this one is to bet that both teams will score.
