We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Wednesday night and Thursday morning, including action from the MLB and KBO.
Three picks are taken from the MLB with 1 coming from the KBO early on Thursday morning. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +939 with DraftKings; that’s more than 9/1! Let’s break down each of these plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.
MLB pick: Los Angeles Angels -1.5 (-145) vs Baltimore Orioles, 7:05pm ET
The Orioles have lost 19 straight games. A big reason for Baltimore’s woes has been their complete lack of pitching. The Orioles have the highest staff ERA in all of baseball (5.86), and they are posting an ERA of 7.79 over the last 15 days. Los Angeles had no trouble scoring early and often in last night’s game, and that could continue in this one. Baltimore is going with a bullpen game, and their bullpen has been among the worst in baseball all season. The Angels can get back to the .500 mark with a win, and with Shohei Ohtani on the mound against a Baltimore team that is reeling, consider backing LA -1.5 in this matchup.

MLB pick: Chicago White Sox vs Toronto Blue Jays ML (-125), 7:07pm ET
We get a couple of power arms in this game on Wednesday. Lucas Giolito has won 2 of his last 3 starts and struck out 8 batters each time. He has pitched well except for his home runs allowed. They are at an all-time high, which is why his ERA is its highest since 2018. He has the exact same 3.77 ERA at home and on the road.
Jays’ lefty Robbie Ray has no decisions in his last 4 starts. It is not because he has not pitched well, though. He has given up just 5 runs combined and struck 19 batters in his last 15.0 innings. He is showing no signs of tiring yet this season. It is tempting to go with the White Sox, who are not often small underdogs on the road, but there will be better spots to back them away from home. Take the value with Toronto and Ray at the Rogers Centre. We have not been able to get him at this price in more than a month. Take Toronto.

MLB pick: San Francisco Giants ML (+105) vs New York Mets, 7:10pm ET
You never know what you are going to get with Giants veteran Johnny Cueto. This month he has one start of 5 shutout innings in a win against the Dodgers and then in the next he lost to Arizona. Both of those games were on the road, where his splits say you might want to consider fading the Giants.
Taijuan Walker has to be wondering when this season will end. Early on he was brilliant but since July 18 he is 0-5 and the Mets have lost all 6 of his starts. Only once during that stretch has he given up fewer than 4 runs, as he and the team have struggled. This is a rare game in which the odds are even. Walker was so good earlier in the season that you want to think he is due for at least one positive start but what is the likelihood it would come against the top team in the league? Cueto is not my favorite but the Giants make sense in this spot. Take San Francisco.

KBO pick: Samsung Lions ML (-150) vs LG Twins, 5:30am ET (Thursday morning)
The Samsung Lions they will start David Buchanan in Thursday’s game. Buchanan has been one of the best pitchers for the Lions this season. Not only the Lions, but in the KBO as a whole. He has a record of 10-3 and a fantastic ERA of 2.61. The Twins will start Im Chan Kyu, who is only 1-4 on the season. His ERA is a concerning 4.80, so it is safe to say he is not having the best season so far.
The Samsung Lions have a clear pitching advantage with Buchanan, so they are the side to look to in this game. The Lions have won 4 of their last 5 games, with the only game not resulting in a win being that tie on Wednesday.
