We’re approaching the home stretch of the 2021 MLB season, and we now know more or less where things stand. A new week is here, so why not celebrate by going for a big payday on Monday? That’s right; we’re back with another MLB mega parlay, this time a three-teamer with a payout north of 12/1, and we’re counting on the Rockies to roll over the Cubs.
We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every MLB game, with our team of experts in red-hot form.
Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 (+185)
Colorado Rockies ML (+110)
Houston Astros -2.5 (+130)
Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.
Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 (+185) over Chicago White Sox
The White Sox enter this game after a 9-0 loss to the Rays. Toronto hasn’t played their best recently either, but I like the Blue Jays here for a few reasons. Young starter Alek Manoah has been very promising this season, and he has a 1.91 ERA in 5 home starts. In his one start against the White Sox this year, he gave up only 1 earned run in 5 innings.
Chicago starter Lance Lynn has had a great season but he’s been a bit shaky recently. Over his last 4 starts he’s lasted only 20 total innings, giving up 9 earned runs. The White Sox got shut out on Sunday, then had to jump on an immediate flight and cross the border to play in Canada on Monday.

Colorado Rockies ML (+110) over Chicago Cubs
How could anybody not want to fade the Cubs right now? Especially when the Rockies have won 5 of their past 6 games. Colorado got off to a terrible start, but they’ve quietly been solidly above .500 team for the last three months. Oddsmakers have yet to catch up, or give them their proper respect.
The Cubs have been an absolute disaster since throwing in the towel at the trade deadline, and are just 4-21 in their last 25 games. How they could be favorites against just about anybody, let alone a hot Rockies team, is puzzling. Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks has a 5.17 ERA in 13 starts at Wrigley Field this year. Getting the Rockies at plus-money is a steal.

Houston Astros -2.5 (+130) over Kansas City Royals
To wrap up this mega parlay and hopefully bring us home, we’ve got Houston. The Astros are coming off a 6-3 loss to the Mariners, but I’m not too concerned. Right before that they’d won their previous two games by a combined score of 27-4, so I think it’s safe to say that the offense is just fine. They’re tied with Toronto for the highest OPS in the league, so they’re exactly the kind of team you want to back on an alt run line like this.
Sure the Royals just swept the Cubs, but that’s not saying much these days. Kansas City will start Daniel Lynch, a rookie with a 5.12 ERA and 1.50 WHIP. Asking him to make the ninth start of his career on the road against this lethal Houston offense is a recipe for disaster.
