Our NFL handicappers are 10-5 on their spread picks for preseason Week 2 and 8-7 up on the totals. Sunday’s action saw the Browns beat the Giants 17-13 before the 49ers topped the Chargers 15-10. The attention was on San Francisco’s rookie QB Trey Lance, who went 8/14 for 102 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT, in a mixed bag of a performance that still leaves Jimmy Garoppolo favorite to begin the season as Kyle Shanahan’s starter. DraftKings Sportsbook has Lance at +300 to take the 49ers’ first snap of the regular season and -400 not to.
No blues for EPL Chelsea backers
