College Football Picks Today: October 31, 2026
Consensus spreads and totals across US books, a read on every game on the board, and the method behind the card — refreshed every morning.
Updated October 31, 2026 · Money Maverick Sports
47 games on the College Football board for Saturday, October 31, 2026. 6 of them are priced inside three points, which is where a half point of line shopping is worth the most. The tightest number on the board is Huskies @ Falcons at PK — a coin flip the market cannot separate. Totals average 51.4 across the slate. Every number below is the median across US books at publication, not one sportsbook's opinion — treat it as the market and compare it to the price in front of you.
Numbers below are the median across 11 US sportsbooks surveyed when this edition published, not one book's opinion. Lines move all day — confirm the current price at your own book before betting, and read line shopping for why the half point you give away is the most expensive habit in betting.
Today's Card
College football is the softest major market in American betting, because a hundred and thirty teams is more than any book can price precisely and far more than the public watches.
Today's graded plays have not been published on this page. Members receive the full card — every play, the write-up behind it and the recommended unit sizing — before the numbers move, and every result is posted publicly afterwards on the records page whether it won or lost.

College Football Odds Board — October 31, 2026
Game-By-Game Previews
Each read below is drafted by our preview engine from the consensus numbers on this board and nothing else, then filtered before publication: it cannot cite an injury, a record or a statistic, because it is not given any, and language that promises a result is rejected outright. They are a starting point for your own handicapping, not a substitute for it. The plays we actually stake are on the card above.
Illinois Fighting Illini at Maryland Terrapins
Card focus
NCAAF · Sat 12:00 PM ET · Illini -2.5 · O/U 54 · ML Illini -135 / Terrapins +113
Illini is only -2.5 against Terrapins, which is the market saying it expects a one-score game and leaning barely at all. 54 is the posted total. Comparing it against what you think the game looks like is usually a cleaner decision than picking a side this close. Moneyline consensus is Illini -135 / Terrapins +113. The number sits beside 3, the most common football margin, which makes shopping for the better side of that half point the whole decision. Compare this against your own book before 12:00 PM ET — the price you actually get is the only one that pays.
Wisconsin Badgers at Iowa Hawkeyes
Card focus
NCAAF · Sat 12:00 PM ET · Hawkeyes -2.5 · O/U 36.5 · ML Badgers +114 / Hawkeyes -137
A -2.5 price on Hawkeyes puts this inside a single score, and games priced this close are where a half point is worth the most of anywhere on the board. The market has priced 36.5 points into this one, which is the number to start from if the side is too close to call. Moneyline consensus is Badgers +114 / Hawkeyes -137. The number sits beside 3, the most common football margin, which makes shopping for the better side of that half point the whole decision. Whatever you make of it, shop the number before 12:00 PM ET; a half point here is worth more than most opinions about the game.
UConn Huskies at Air Force Falcons
Card focus
NCAAF · Sat 3:00 PM ET · Pick'em · O/U 51.5 · ML Huskies -110 / Falcons -110
The market cannot separate Huskies @ Falcons: it is a true pick'em, which means the side you take is a judgement the price is refusing to make for you. Totals are where a close game gets interesting, and this one is posted at 51.5. Moneyline consensus is Huskies -110 / Falcons -110. None of that is a recommendation — it is what the price implies. Check the current number before 3:00 PM ET and decide from there.
Arizona Wildcats at Texas Tech Red Raiders
NCAAF · Sat 12:00 PM ET · Raiders -3.5 · O/U 54.5 · ML Wildcats +150 / Raiders -177
Raiders -3.5 is a real but containable edge — the market expects them to win without expecting the game to stop being a game. 54.5 is the posted total. Comparing it against what you think the game looks like is usually a cleaner decision than picking a side this close. Moneyline consensus is Wildcats +150 / Raiders -177. The number sits beside 3, the most common football margin, which makes shopping for the better side of that half point the whole decision. The board above is the median across US books at publication. Check it against your book before 12:00 PM ET rather than assuming they match.
Boston College Eagles at Duke Blue Devils
NCAAF · Sat 12:00 PM ET · Devils -7 · O/U 48.5 · ML Eagles +215 / Devils -265
The number on Devils is -7, which prices a clear advantage rather than a mismatch, and leaves the underdog live in the fourth quarter. The market has priced 48.5 points into this one, which is the number to start from if the side is too close to call. Moneyline consensus is Eagles +215 / Devils -265. Seven is the second-largest cluster in football margins, so a half point either side of this number is worth real win probability. Prices move up to 12:00 PM ET, so treat the number here as where the market was and not necessarily where you can get on.
Bowling Green Falcons at Western Michigan Broncos
NCAAF · Sat 12:00 PM ET · Broncos -13.5 · O/U 44.5 · ML Falcons +446 / Broncos -600
-13.5 on Broncos is the market expecting this to be decided early, which makes the total the more informative of the two prices here. The total is 44.5, and on a game priced this lopsided it is the number carrying most of the information: it tells you whether the market expects the favourite to bury this or grind it out. Moneyline consensus is Falcons +446 / Broncos -600. None of that is a recommendation — it is what the price implies. Check the current number before 12:00 PM ET and decide from there.
California Golden Bears at NC State Wolfpack
NCAAF · Sat 12:00 PM ET · Wolfpack -9.5 · O/U 56.5 · ML Bears +257 / Wolfpack -330
At -9.5, Wolfpack is being priced to win by two scores, and a number that size shifts the interesting question from who wins to whether Bears keeps it respectable. With the side this clear, 56.5 is the number worth arguing about — it is the market's estimate of the shape of the game rather than its winner. Moneyline consensus is Bears +257 / Wolfpack -330. Whether that reads cheap or expensive is your call to make against your own book before 12:00 PM ET.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Navy Midshipmen
NCAAF · Sat 12:00 PM ET · Irish -30.5 · O/U 56.5 · ML Irish -10000 / Midshipmen +1800
-30.5 on Irish is the market expecting this to be decided early, which makes the total the more informative of the two prices here. With the side this clear, 56.5 is the number worth arguing about — it is the market's estimate of the shape of the game rather than its winner. Moneyline consensus is Irish -10000 / Midshipmen +1800. The board above is the median across US books at publication. Check it against your book before 12:00 PM ET rather than assuming they match.
SMU Mustangs at Syracuse Orange
NCAAF · Sat 12:00 PM ET · Mustangs -9.5 · O/U 58.5 · ML Mustangs -350 / Orange +280
Mustangs -9.5 is a two-score expectation. Prices this long are usually more about how the favourite finishes than whether it leads. A total of 58.5 beside a spread this size is the market describing pace as much as strength; that is the half of the price still open to disagreement. Moneyline consensus is Mustangs -350 / Orange +280. Prices move up to 12:00 PM ET, so treat the number here as where the market was and not necessarily where you can get on.
UAB Blazers at South Florida Bulls
NCAAF · Sat 12:00 PM ET · Bulls -7.5 · O/U 42 · ML Blazers +250 / Bulls -310
The books have Bulls at -7.5, which is a two-score price and therefore a bet on margin rather than on outcome. The total is 42, and on a game priced this lopsided it is the number carrying most of the information: it tells you whether the market expects the favourite to bury this or grind it out. Moneyline consensus is Blazers +250 / Bulls -310. This one straddles 7, football's second-biggest margin cluster, so the half point is worth chasing across books. None of that is a recommendation — it is what the price implies. Check the current number before 12:00 PM ET and decide from there.
Michigan Wolverines at Rutgers Scarlet Knights
NCAAF · Sat 12:30 PM ET · Wolverines -16 · O/U 46.5 · ML Wolverines -700 / Knights +505
A -16 spread says the books see a mismatch. At that size the side is rarely the useful bet; what the total implies about the shape of the game usually is. With the side this clear, 46.5 is the number worth arguing about — it is the market's estimate of the shape of the game rather than its winner. Moneyline consensus is Wolverines -700 / Knights +505. Whether that reads cheap or expensive is your call to make against your own book before 12:30 PM ET.
Auburn Tigers at Ole Miss Rebels
NCAAF · Sat 12:45 PM ET · Rebels -11.5 · O/U 57.5 · ML Tigers +350 / Rebels -458
Rebels -11.5 is a two-score expectation. Prices this long are usually more about how the favourite finishes than whether it leads. A total of 57.5 beside a spread this size is the market describing pace as much as strength; that is the half of the price still open to disagreement. Moneyline consensus is Tigers +350 / Rebels -458. Compare this against your own book before 12:45 PM ET — the price you actually get is the only one that pays.
Marshall Thundering Herd at Old Dominion Monarchs
NCAAF · Sat 1:00 PM ET · Herd -3 · O/U 46.5 · ML Herd -145 / Monarchs +121
-3 on Herd is a lean, not a verdict: the market is telling you it expects Monarchs to be within a score of this at the end. The total sits at 46.5, which is the faster read on this game than the side: it says how much scoring the market has priced in before you form your own view. Moneyline consensus is Herd -145 / Monarchs +121. The number is parked on 3, the single most common NFL and college margin, so buying or selling that half point matters more here than anywhere else on the board. Whatever you make of it, shop the number before 1:00 PM ET; a half point here is worth more than most opinions about the game.
Coastal Carolina Chanticleers at Georgia State Panthers
NCAAF · Sat 2:00 PM ET · Panthers -4 · O/U 56 · ML Chanticleers +154 / Panthers -182
Panthers -4 is a real but containable edge — the market expects them to win without expecting the game to stop being a game. 56 is the posted total. Comparing it against what you think the game looks like is usually a cleaner decision than picking a side this close. Moneyline consensus is Chanticleers +154 / Panthers -182. The board above is the median across US books at publication. Check it against your book before 2:00 PM ET rather than assuming they match.
Kansas State Wildcats at Colorado Buffaloes
NCAAF · Sat 2:00 PM ET · Buffaloes -3 · O/U 46.5 · ML Wildcats +130 / Buffaloes -155
A -3 price on Buffaloes puts this inside a single score, and games priced this close are where a half point is worth the most of anywhere on the board. The market has priced 46.5 points into this one, which is the number to start from if the side is too close to call. Moneyline consensus is Wildcats +130 / Buffaloes -155. The number is parked on 3, the single most common NFL and college margin, so buying or selling that half point matters more here than anywhere else on the board. Prices move up to 2:00 PM ET, so treat the number here as where the market was and not necessarily where you can get on.
Temple Owls at East Carolina Pirates
NCAAF · Sat 3:00 PM ET · Pirates -4.5 · O/U 50.5 · ML Owls +164 / Pirates -195
Pirates -4.5 is a real but containable edge — the market expects them to win without expecting the game to stop being a game. The total sits at 50.5, which is the faster read on this game than the side: it says how much scoring the market has priced in before you form your own view. Moneyline consensus is Owls +164 / Pirates -195. Whether that reads cheap or expensive is your call to make against your own book before 3:00 PM ET.
Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at South Alabama Jaguars
NCAAF · Sat 3:00 PM ET · Bulldogs -6 · O/U 58.5 · ML Bulldogs -235 / Jaguars +192
The number on Bulldogs is -6, which prices a clear advantage rather than a mismatch, and leaves the underdog live in the fourth quarter. 58.5 is the posted total. Comparing it against what you think the game looks like is usually a cleaner decision than picking a side this close. Moneyline consensus is Bulldogs -235 / Jaguars +192. Compare this against your own book before 3:00 PM ET — the price you actually get is the only one that pays.
Stanford Cardinal at Louisville Cardinals
NCAAF · Sat 3:15 PM ET · Cardinals -22.5 · O/U 60.5 · ML Cardinal +1041 / Cardinals -2000
A -22.5 spread says the books see a mismatch. At that size the side is rarely the useful bet; what the total implies about the shape of the game usually is. The total is 60.5, and on a game priced this lopsided it is the number carrying most of the information: it tells you whether the market expects the favourite to bury this or grind it out. Moneyline consensus is Cardinal +1041 / Cardinals -2000. Whatever you make of it, shop the number before 3:15 PM ET; a half point here is worth more than most opinions about the game.
Arizona State Sun Devils at BYU Cougars
NCAAF · Sat 3:30 PM ET · Cougars -16.5 · O/U 48.5 · ML Devils +550 / Cougars -800
-16.5 on Cougars is the market expecting this to be decided early, which makes the total the more informative of the two prices here. With the side this clear, 48.5 is the number worth arguing about — it is the market's estimate of the shape of the game rather than its winner. Moneyline consensus is Devils +550 / Cougars -800. The board above is the median across US books at publication. Check it against your book before 3:30 PM ET rather than assuming they match.
Colorado State Rams at Utah State Aggies
NCAAF · Sat 3:30 PM ET · Aggies -7.5 · O/U 61.5 · ML Rams +225 / Aggies -278
Aggies -7.5 is a two-score expectation. Prices this long are usually more about how the favourite finishes than whether it leads. A total of 61.5 beside a spread this size is the market describing pace as much as strength; that is the half of the price still open to disagreement. Moneyline consensus is Rams +225 / Aggies -278. This one straddles 7, football's second-biggest margin cluster, so the half point is worth chasing across books. Prices move up to 3:30 PM ET, so treat the number here as where the market was and not necessarily where you can get on.
Florida Gators at Georgia Bulldogs
NCAAF · Sat 3:30 PM ET · Bulldogs -12 · O/U 56.5 · ML Gators +345 / Bulldogs -450
The books have Bulldogs at -12, which is a two-score price and therefore a bet on margin rather than on outcome. The total is 56.5, and on a game priced this lopsided it is the number carrying most of the information: it tells you whether the market expects the favourite to bury this or grind it out. Moneyline consensus is Gators +345 / Bulldogs -450. None of that is a recommendation — it is what the price implies. Check the current number before 3:30 PM ET and decide from there.
Florida International Panthers at Liberty Flames
NCAAF · Sat 3:30 PM ET · Flames -14 · O/U 45.5 · ML Panthers +425 / Flames -575
A -14 spread says the books see a mismatch. At that size the side is rarely the useful bet; what the total implies about the shape of the game usually is. With the side this clear, 45.5 is the number worth arguing about — it is the market's estimate of the shape of the game rather than its winner. Moneyline consensus is Panthers +425 / Flames -575. Whether that reads cheap or expensive is your call to make against your own book before 3:30 PM ET.

-20.5 on Hoosiers is the market expecting this to be decided early, which makes the total the more informative of the two prices here. A total of 41 beside a spread this size is the market describing pace as much as strength; that is the half of the price still open to disagreement. Moneyline consensus is Gophers +850 / Hoosiers -1400. Compare this against your own book before 3:30 PM ET — the price you actually get is the only one that pays.
Kansas Jayhawks at TCU Horned Frogs
NCAAF · Sat 3:30 PM ET · Frogs -6.5 · O/U 45.5 · ML Jayhawks +195 / Frogs -235
At -6.5, Frogs is favoured by more than a field goal and less than a comfortable margin, which is the range where the total and the side inform each other most. The total sits at 45.5, which is the faster read on this game than the side: it says how much scoring the market has priced in before you form your own view. Moneyline consensus is Jayhawks +195 / Frogs -235. This one straddles 7, football's second-biggest margin cluster, so the half point is worth chasing across books. Whatever you make of it, shop the number before 3:30 PM ET; a half point here is worth more than most opinions about the game.

How To Read Today's College Football Numbers
College football's defining feature is dispersion. The gap between the best and worst teams on any Saturday is far wider than anything the NFL produces, and that changes how every number should be read.
- Big spreads are not automatically wrong. A 31-point favourite can be correctly priced, and betting dogs on principle is a losing strategy. What matters is whether the number matches the talent gap, which is what power ratings are for.
- Totals run high and move hard. Tempo differences between programmes are enormous, and a total in the 60s tells you about pace as much as quality.
- Limits are lower, so numbers are softer. Books cannot price a hundred and thirty teams as tightly as thirty-two, and the gap between two books on the same game is routinely a full point or more. This is the sport where shopping earns the most.
- Motivation is real but overused. Look-ahead spots and letdowns exist; they are also the most over-narrated angle in the sport. Treat them as a tiebreaker, never as a thesis.
Why College Numbers Are Softer Than The NFL's
| Factor | NFL | College football |
|---|---|---|
| Teams to price | 32 | 130+ |
| Games per week | ~16 | 60+ |
| Betting limits | Very high | Lower, especially off-brand games |
| Public attention | Every game | Concentrated on ~10 games |
| Book-to-book gaps | Half a point | A point or more |
| Roster turnover | Moderate | Extreme year to year |
The consequence: the profitable college work is usually in games nobody is talking about, and the least profitable is in the one game everybody is. College totals covers the market where that gap is widest.
What Makes Today's Card
Same bar as every other sport: a measurable difference between our number and the market's, larger than the cost of getting on. In college football that difference shows up more often, so the card is longer here than it is in the NFL — and the sizing is deliberately not larger, because the variance is.
Bowl season and the playoff get their own treatment on bowl games and playoff betting, since layoff and motivation genuinely dominate those spots. The record is published either way.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are today's college football picks free?
The board, the game previews and the analysis on this page are free and refresh every morning. The graded card with write-ups and unit sizing goes to members, and results are posted publicly on the records page.
Is college football easier to beat than the NFL?
The numbers are softer, which is not the same as easier. A hundred and thirty teams means books price less precisely, but it also means you have to know something about programmes nobody covers. The edge is real and it is work — and it is concentrated in games the public ignores.
Should I bet big college football underdogs?
Not as a rule. Large spreads in college are frequently correct because the talent gaps genuinely are that wide. The question is always whether this number matches this mismatch, which is a power rating question rather than a philosophical one.
Why are there so many games on this board?
Because a college Saturday can carry sixty games across the FBS. Every game with a consensus number posted for today appears above, ordered by kickoff, so you can see the whole slate rather than the handful on national television.
